So I never became a Pokémon master. !

Despite this lack of accomplishment, the journey of a Pokémon Master is
still filled with lessons that could help all us for the better. Here are a few:!

Be proud of your origin. Whether you chose Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or
Charmander (the true winner), your journey will lead you far and wide. One
thing is certain: a Pokémon Master, will always have one of these three
starters on hand. No matter where we go or what we do, the places that
we called home and the people who got us to where we are will
always be with us.!

You have to train a Magikarp to catch a Mewtwo. Magikarp is the most
useless Pokémon in all of the land. Mewtwo, on the other hand, is
legendary. It is 1 of 1. Magikarp are easy to catch, but hard to train.
However, if you’re patient enough and if you work hard enough, you’ll have
a fiercely powerful Gyarados. If we want to be legendary, we’ll first need
to learn how to make something out of nothing.!

Persevere to be the very best, like no one ever was. Let’s face it. To
actually “Catch ‘em all” is next to impossible. But then again, staying home
for life proved impossible, as did outgrowing my older brother. And, unless
science cooks up an electric mouse or a flammable lizard in the next 70
years, becoming a Pokémon Master just as I had always dreamed will fail
to become a reality. No matter what the odds are, no matter what we
think is physically possible, we should always strive to
