Founded in 2007 by Malte Zeeck , Philipp von Plato , and Christian Leifeld . 2.5 million members presently with communities in 390 cities worldwide
As the largest international community for people who live and work abroad , InterNations offers global networking opportunities , local events and expatrelevant information . At around 3,500 monthly events and activities , expats get to meet fellow internationals in their city , while forums and destination guides provide valuable tips and information . To ensure the quality of the network , InterNations membership is by approval only . Our very own International Editor / Community Affairs Director , Sonia Guimbellot , was on hand as a host to greet and check in the InterNations members at their 1st Launch party of the 2017 year !
