The final question from the moderator pertained to the generation gap between learners and educators. Ms. Hetnar recounted that the Education Center team at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial recently took part in training on working with individuals with special educational needs. During the training, one statement stood out: “Educators are individuals from yesterday teaching individuals from today about what will happen tomorrow.”
