The International Educational Conference 2025, entitled "Remember. Is Memory Enough in the 21st Century?" took place on June 30-July 2 at the International Center for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Oświęcim. The conference gathered experts from different fields of knowledge and served as a platform for active discussions and exchange of thoughts, reflections, views, and valuable experience from practical work with memory and diversity in various communities.
This publication is a summary of what was presented and discussed during the conference. The international debate among 150 experts from more than 20 countries across the world, both speakers and attendees, provided a unique opportunity to look at the topics and questions from multiple perspectives and jointly search for solutions to the dangers and challenges of modern times. We hope that these texts will provide food for thought and offer the readers new insights and ideas that they can apply in their everyday activities. The recorded discussions are available on the official YouTube channel of the Auschwitz Memorial.
