This new electronic lifting/lowering mechanism system (part #9718N) works at the touch of a button to raise or lower the motorcycle's screen while riding, enabling the rider to regulate the air flow around the helmet and upper body. The mechanism allows for the OEM windshield to be raised 60 mm higher than with the original OE manual mechanism and by up to 20 mm lower for off-road riding. The installation does not require any additional www.idnmag.com hardware since it "substantially improves the rigidity of the OE assembly mechanism". The ERS has been designed to be model-specific and can be mounted with either the OEM screen or Puig's own screens. The company says the installation does not require mechanical or electronic knowledge and comes with simple printed instructions with additional videos available on the company website.
