PRO GuIDe Maxi Enduro side lights Following in the evolution of GIVI’s R&D team’s ongoing LED and halogen lights development programmes, these S321 LED ‘projectors’ are designed to deal with an issue caused by the frame design and lights positioning on Maxi Enduro models. The front headlight is usually positioned quite high, which can create areas of shadow to the side, near the front wheel and up some metres away. Waterproof and certified as a fog lamp, the S321 uses LED technology and only 8 watts (16 watts in total for the pair, a consumption ably supported by the battery, enabling it to be used also on small to medium sized engines). The light beam is of lens profile type - direct but not blinding for oncoming traffic. The circuitry does not interfere with the proper functioning of the electrics (ECU, ignition etc.) and includes a fuse, cabling for direct connection to the battery and a waterproof switch to be installed on the handlebars. The set also includes a third cable for the connection to the ignition lock of the motorcycle. The S321 has an aluminium housing featuring slender fins; the main body, painted in black, is a nice contrast to the silver rim holding the lens. The pair of lights can easily be fitted to all engine guards with a tubular diameter ranging from 21 to 25 mm by means of a round clamp, which can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically for the correct alignment of the light beam. The S321 kit includes a light support and an accessory that enables use of the two lights even if the engine guard is absent - a 25 mm tubular rod to be fitted beneath the light that can also be used for an action camera. Currently this accessory is available for the BMW R nineT and R1200 RT, Kawasaki Versys 650, Yamaha Tracer 700 and Honda NC750X. GIVI S.R.L. Designed in the UK using our extensive experience in the race paddock, both are nitrogen-filled, providing more consistent internal pressure as the damper operates, for a smoother ride.” Rebound damping on the Razor and Razor Lite is adjustable by hand – no tools required – using a dial at the base of the shock absorber. Length can also be adjusted by up to 10 mm, simply by turning the nuts above the spring, (one turn = 1 mm, so it is easy to measure). Razor shocks feature a piggyback reservoir, with an additional hand-dial at the collar, for quick and easy compression damping adjustment. Both Razor and Razor Lite units are direct replacements for the original equipment and available for the T120, Street Twin, Thruxton 1200 and the Scrambler (up to 2015). Also seen here, K-Tech’s latest generation Razor-R and Razor-R Lite shock absorbers are now available to fit Yamaha’s Hyper Naked, Sports Touring and Sports Heritage 700 and 900 cc models. Direct modification-free replacements for the original equipment shock absorbers, both models have internal reservoirs to separate the nitrogen gas from the damping oil for more consistent control.
