AKRAPOVIC’s slip-on features a new-shape muffler
design that is said to have been inspired by the
mufflers on the 2014 Yamaha YZR-M1 machines
ridden by Rossi and Lorenzo in MotoGP.
The titanium muffler comes with a carbon fibre
heat shield, is lighter than stock, is a plug-and-play
exhaust that needs no remapping or other parts. ECE
and EC approved and United States CARB and EPA
noise compliant.
An optional lightweight titanium link pipe is said
to yield more power and increased torque, and turns
the slip-on exhaust into a full system.

ITALIAN exhaust specialist Zard is now
offering a full 2-into-1 system for the
Yamaha MT-09.
Available in both street legal homologated
and racing versions, the steel construction is
claimed to be half the weight of the OEM
exhaust, offering increased performance
and a removable DB killer. Options include a
carbon end cap and black ceramic coating.

White finish

ARROW has announced the availability of a
special new white finish on its range of
Race-Tech and Thunder slip-on, aluminium
silencers.
Arrow scotch brites the muffler body, before
it is powder coated white using an electrostatic painting process. The white treatment

G.P.R. slip-ons
for R nine T
G.P.R. has expanded its slip-on range with the
introduction of three options for the BMW R nine T:
the Deeptone, Fast Can Powercone, and Albus.
The Deeptone uses stainless steel in a twin tail
pipe design. MotoGP race pipes have been used as
the inspiration for the look of the Fast Can
Powercone, and the Albus is finished with what is
said to be a unique white ceramic coating.
All of the TIG welded slip-ons are hand-made in
Italy.
