PRO GuIDe Works Triplestar sprockets and BATFLY S3 rotors NEW sprocket applications from Japanese manufacturer Sunstar include high strength, wear resistant, lightweight hard anodised coated 7075 T6 heat-treated 'Ergal' aluminium alloy 'Works Triplestar' designs that are said to provide 24 percent greater chain contact area than the stock sprockets they replace. Sunstar say that this is due to their exclusive 'toothvalley' technology, which increases power transfer efficiency and reliability; this is one of many proprietary design and manufacturing techniques the company has developed since it started making sprockets for OE motorcycle manufacturers as f ar back as 1946. They are available in polished metal, and a range of Japanese, European and American motorcycle manufacturer OE-match anodised colours, including black and KTM orange. The company is the world’s largest sprocket manufacturer, and they say that these are the "longest lasting aluminium rear sprockets on today's market". Also seen here the S3 off-road and Enduro brake disc with directional 'Wave' profile is the latest addition to the Italian made BATFLY range first introduced by Braking in 2002. The three-piece semi-floating design of the outer braking track is said to allow for improved heat dissipation and improve feel (and therefore control) under braking, and reduced weight compared to the OE item. The BATFLY grooves on the disc's surface is said to create a self-ventilating mechanism for improved cooling. Other advantages are that mud and dirt are easily cleaned from the pad surface and outer braking track and the outside and inside disc's diameter have a round design, which allows a better radial expansion of the disc in extreme heat conditions. Mobile device-friendly legbag THIS new mobile device-friendly legbag from Kappa features a power supply and/or headphone cable output supply port. Made in 420D polyester and finished with high visibility reflective silver inserts, the LH209 provides two large compartments with zip closures. Measuring 14 (W) x 21 (D) x 8 cm deep, it is ideal for personal items and on-the-go electronic devices. It makes its debut in the Kappa range with two other new items, the LH203R, which can be placed on the passenger seat or rear rack, 18 and the LH208 handlebar bag. KAPPA S.r.l. This is said to give the best compromise between the prompt response of a fixed disc while providing the performance and improved heat dissipation typical of floating discs.
