GP Plus R jacket and Faster boots
ALPINESTARS’ latest jacket for sportsbike riders is
the GP Plus R.
The new leather jacket features a multi-panel
chassis with 1.3mm leather and extensive stretch
panelling, which is combined with a multi-panel
lining.
Rider protection is catered for with CE-approved
Bio-Armor at the shoulders and elbows, dual density
polymer shoulder sliders, which are ergonomically
incorporated into the jacket’s design for added
abrasion resistance, and the chest and back pad
compartments have PE padding (Alpinestars Bionic
chest pads and Back Armor are available as accessory
upgrade).
To ensure a close fit the GP Plus R has microfiber
accordion stretch inserts on the rear, accordion
leather stretch panels on the elbows and poly-fabric
stretch panels under the arms to help keep jacket

sleeves positioned close to the rider’s body. The
sleeves themselves are pre-curved to help reduce
riding fatigue and prevent material bunching.
Alpinestars’ exclusive Dynamic Flow Control
(DFC) ventilation inlets on the shoulders are zippered
