Swedish suspension manufacturer Öhlins has named the Italian Suspension specialist Andreani ' s UK operation( country manager Nick Campolucci) as its new UK importer. BDN reports that Öhlins hasn ' t had an official supplier in the UK after Harris Performance, its previous distributor, was acquired by Royal Enfield in 2015. Since then, the firm has run its race support programme through Richard Brendish and his company Race Concepts, with parts available through a network of dealers and suspension specialists. Aftermarket parts were supplied directly to the UK market from Germany, with anything over a certain value taking weeks to get through customs.
From November 2026, Hostettler AG in Sursee will once again handle the distribution of the Shark and Nolan helmet brands in Switzerland. In 2025, brand owner 2Ride Group decided to self-distribute for the German, Austrian and Swiss markets. However, the very specific challenges of the Swiss market( customs and tax structures, multiple languages etc) have resulted in a decision to end its direct sales model there, returning to the concept of a local importer, with Hostettler picking the brands up again. B & B quotes Peter Hostettler, Hostettler Managing Director, as saying that " This development shows how important the role of importers and brick-andmortar retailers remains – especially for products requiring extensive advice and service, such as motorcycle equipment."
Munich-based electric motorcycle manufacturer Black Tea Motorbikes GmbH is facing major challenges, with July seeing the Munich District Court ordering preliminary insolvency proceedings to secure the company ' s assets and to examine its financial situation and any viable restructuring options. Founded in 2019, the company made a name for itself through a successful crowdfunding campaign raising over € 600,000 to fund its retro electric motorcycle designs. However, they have succumbed to supply chain pressures, especially concerning batteries, chargers, and wiring harnesses( B & B).

SEMA Vice President of Events Tom Gattuso describes this step as a " bold step forward in SEMA ' s mission to serve the entire enthusiast ecosystem. Powersports has always been an integral part of SEMA ' s DNA, and we are now providing this community with the dedicated platform it deserves. By integrating powersports and related lifestyle products into our Show floor, we are creating a more powerful, unified resource for the aftermarket.
