High-performance
exhausts for new CBR 650R
Italian exhaust manufacturer MIVV has been designing and manufacturing exhaust systems for the motorcycle sector for over fifty years. Among its latest news are additions to the range of aftermarket exhausts for Honda ' s ' CBR ' family- with some new complete systems that are designed to highlight the sporty style of the latest( 2024-2025) 650R edition. The manufacturer guarantees full regulatory compliance for street legal riding but has also added to their ' package ' of refinements developed exclusively for the track. MIVV first developed exhausts for the CBR in 1991( for the

600F) and have therefore designed exhausts for all the different engine platforms that have carried ' CBR ' subbranding since then- singles, twins and 4-cylinders. For the current 2024-2025 CBR 650R MIVV has focused on three complete systems, two of which have MIVV manufactured catalysts. The third system is the track use version. The silencers used are the AK-1, GP PRO and the MK3- each offered in two finishes. The AK-1 silencer is produced with a stainless steel or titanium body, with both versions using a carbon end cap with a twill weave. It is an extremely light high-performance system, and a carbon heat shield is supplied. The exhaust outlet pipe is equipped with a removable protective grille that hides the dB-killer. It is available with a silencer featuring a central carbon body with a glossy finish; alternatively, there is the black stainlesssteel version – which uses a special painting process. A carbon heat shield is supplied. Max power gain is + 8.50 hp at 11,600 rpm, with max torque
