BS30 MAX smart charger: the next level of Intelligent battery care
BS Battery has added a new BS 30 MAX to its battery care range. Described as a " next generation smart battery charger and maintainer " it is said to offer a " MAXimum range of advanced features in a compact design. " Engineered to meet the evolving needs of modern workshops and riders, the BS 30 MAX is a smart 12V- 3A workshop and home user battery tool featuring advanced functions such as reconditioning mode to help revive deeply discharged batteries and extend battery life."
The Power Supply mode delivers a stable DC voltage " for diagnostics, maintenance, or battery replacement while preserving vehicle settings ", the Force Mode will recover low-voltage batteries " that standard chargers may not detect " and CAN Bus mode enables convenient plug-and-play charging through the vehicle ' s original accessory socket when used with the optional PA05 CAN Bus connector to SAE plug. " Together, these features provide a versatile solution for battery charging, maintenance and recovery. Following the smart charging technology featured across the BS BATTERY range, the BS 30 MAX automatically detects Lead Acid and Lithium( LiFePO4) batteries and applies the applying the optimal charging algorithm with no risk of overcharging. " Designed for maximum safety, the BS 30 MAX includes protection against reverse polarity, short circuits, overheating, and provides spark-free connection. It also features clamps with integrated hook terminals and slim needle-nose tips for easy access to hard-to-reach terminals, combined with an ergonomic design for improved grip and comfort." The hook terminals are designed to simplify installation by eliminating the need to fully remove the screw for eyelet fitting, saving time, reducing the risk of losing hardware, and helping preserve vehicle data and settings.
