GIVI XSpace- expandable top cases
Italian specialist GIVI describes its new XSpace(' Extra Space ') Monokey top case range as a " new frontier in expandable top case " design that " combines everyday compactness with long-distance touring expandability. The primary feature is a patented telescopic system that " ensures practicality and security, together with refined craftsmanship and the customary ' Made in Italy ' GIVI quality. " Intended to redefine versatility without compromise, this has been a project aimed at reshaping the very concept of load capacity through an advanced design approach that seamlessly combines compact dimensions for daily riding with instant expandability for longer journeys." Part of GIVI ' s ongoing evolution, this innovation " represents both our forward-thinking vision- bringing technologically advanced solutions to the global market- and a tribute to our heritage. From a technical standpoint, XSpace integrates a patented mechanical system that enables telescopic expansion of the case with the lid open- in a single operation, without the need to remove or unload contents. The mechanism is engineered to ensure precise movement, structural integrity, and long-term durability. The system is also designed to prevent any accidental or unauthorised activation when the motorcycle is parked.
The dual configuration 27 litre Compact mode maintains reduced dimensions while " ensuring aerodynamic efficiency, stability, and riding comfort, especially in urban environments." The 36 litre Expanded mode offers some 33 percent extra capacity and can accommodate one XXL GIVI modular helmet( ECE 22.06) with peak. Features include a Patented Monokey mounting system and Patented internal rack mechanism for enhanced stability; impact-, UV-, and weatherresistant materials; guaranteed water resistance- even in the expanded mode; integrated carry handles for easy transport; BMW key system compatibility and optional Smart Security Lock system. " Premium materials ensure lightweight construction, strength, and long-term durability while the external expansion system guarantees intuitive and safe operation." It is available in black with anodised aluminium cover or a total black version( non-aluminium).
