Ducati closed 2024 with 54,495 motorcycles delivered to customers around the world , recording a 6 % drop compared to 2023 ( 58,224 ). " The result is part of a particularly complex competitive scenario , and a global situation characterised by uncertainties on several fronts . The year was further affected by some production and logistics issues that , in the first six months , negatively affected deliveries in some overseas markets ". In terms of volumes , Italy confirmed its position as its main market with a total of 9,589 motorcycles delivered (+ 1 %). The United States followed in second place with 6,993 units ( -14 %), while Germany ranked third with 6,575 motorcycles delivered ( - 4 %). In Europe , Spain was the nation with the most significant growth (+ 10 %). Among the emerging markets , South America stood out with + 8.4 % together with India , which saw an increase of 6 %. The Chinese market recorded a 26 % decline compared to 2023 , maintaining the negative trend already seen last year , as well as Australia , which experienced a 25 % decrease . The Multistrada confirmed its position as Ducati ' s best-selling model family with 13,069 units sold ( of which 10,114 were with V4 engine ). The Diavel V4 scooped a prestigious Red Dot Award 2024 : Best of the Best , the Good Design Award and the Special Mention at the German Design Awards 2024 . 2024 also saw Ducati win its third consecutive MotoGP World Championship and the fourth in its history . Ducati has 800 dealers in over 90 countries .
