' Silent Fury ' certainly is the back story behind the new titanium exhaust system introduced at EICMA by long established and sustainability pioneering exhaust specialist GPR Italia . Co-owner Mauro Orlandi told IDN that this new titanium system - seen here for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 - meets the 95 dB noise level limit that many local and regional authorities in Europe are imposing in their jurisdictions . This lower limit is more restrictive than the current EU standard approval regulations , and what started out as a draconian over-reaction to perceived rural noise issues in the Tyrol is now spreading and being adopted in an ever-increasing number of European regions . using mechanical silencing technology " which allows perfect compliance with the new requirements , even with complete systems like this one for the Ténéré 700 that is equipped with approved catalysts .
