" Ventilation points on the biceps , chest and rear expel hot air quickly and make the ' Expedition ' a truly versatile jacket that can tackle warm weather rides too ". A five-piece suite of D3O armour sits at the elbows , shoulders and back ( D3O LP1 - CE compliance to EN1621 ), while the jacket as a whole receives CE Level ' A ' certification . It also includes the D3O Viper back protector as standard . " On the ' Expedition ' jacket , it ' s the little details that make the biggest differences . Cowhide leather patches to the elbows not only provide enhanced abrasion-resistance in a key impact area but add to the heritage styling - they are finished off with traditional quilting . There are leather trim features across the top of each pocket and YKK zips have been used to ensure the
highest quality .
