Sustainable goals
This year you may notice that we ’ ve reduced the amount of carpeting on-site to just one strip per aisle to prevent more materials from going to landfill than necessary .
We are also being conscious of where we source our signage . Opting for recycled materials that can be recycled again post-event and naturally sourced ink for any necessary signage , an area where we can to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible .
The show has also partnered with event : decision to assess the environmental impact of hosting International Confex and to collaborate postevent to create a sustainability report about the show .
Alongside our effort to become more green there is also the collaboration between International Confex , You . Smart . Thing . and ecolibrium to offset the travel of delegates through delegate donations to offset carbon emissions .
