POLICIES

SPONSORSHIP
All events at Interlachen Country Club must be hosted or sponsored by a member in good standing. The sponsoring member must notify the Catering Office either by phone or email stating that they have agreed to sponsor the event before the Club will confirm a reservation.
The sponsoring member assumes full responsibility for the conduct of guests, in compliance with Club rules, and any debt incurred to the Club. Any event for which a member of the Club is not personally paying for the event( i. e. company parties, school reunions, charity functions, etc.) is subject to a room rental and is considered a sponsored event.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
A non-refundable $ 4,000.00 deposit is required for all events of more than 100 guests to reserve an event date. All deposits are non-refundable and will be applied to the final balance. All rental, food, beverage, fees, taxes, and service charges incurred the day of the event will be billed to the Host at the conclusion of the event.
CANCELLATION
Cancellations are subject to the following charges:
More than 365 days
Forfeit deposit
180 to 365 days
50 % of estimated Banquet Event Order
(“ BEO”)
179 to 31 days
75 % of estimated BEO
30 days or less
100 % of estimated BEO
BALLROOM SPECIFICATIONS
10’ height from chandeliers to the floor 65” diameter of chandeliers 10’ 10” from wall to ceiling Ceiling 18’ 8” in the center of the room
ROOM RENTAL AND SET-UP FEES
Room rental rates apply to all Sponsored Events, including corporate functions. Room rental rates are locked in at the time of booking. Rooms are guaranteed at the contract rental start time, unless confirmed earlier by the Catering Office. The Catering Office will confirm set up and tear down times one week before the event.
Events may be subject to a set-up fee. Moving furniture in the Club’ s Fireside Room, Ballroom Deck, or Interlachen Room and onsite ceremony set-up is subject to a set-up fee.
VALET PARKING AND COAT CHECK ATTENDANTS
These services are required for parties of more than 50 guests. The number of attendants is determined per 50 guests. The cost for valet service is $ 150 per attendant and for coat check( October through March), $ 100.00 per attendant.
If an estimated BEO has not been produced, the cancellation fee shall be equal to the Room Rental Fee( s) and Food Minimum, with the same percentages applied.
