Students brainstorm problems they have noticed in the world around them that would warrant an invention of the future. Alternatively, the inventions could be related to problems that are not necessarily real( unicorn language interpreting device, etc) to stimulate creativity.

In class, they discuss the materials they could use( either with the class teacher, for primary school classes, or with the technological education teacher, for older students). They also discuss challenges they have identified they might have and the teacher and colleagues offer advice as they brainstorm.

As part of an etwinning project, the students would work in international teams, and not individually, so the teachers would arrange meetings for each team( using either zoom or microsoft teams rooms), a digipad where team members can post their suggestions and drafts.

If done as an etwinning project, the teachers collaborate and create the plan of the project, the international teams, the resource library( ICT tools, materials), but also organise the twinspace( jointly). They also offer students tools they can use to introduce themselves.
