Mothers are real-life fairies. They are
everything to everyone! A prudent planner, a
selfless and caring leader, an astounding nutritionist, an
empowering influence, nurturer; they are everything packed
into one!
Of the many hats that she wears, her team-playing
skills are what I admire the most. There is a subtle lesson in
everything that she does that we could take pointers from- how
she becomes the pivot of the family; how she is so therapeutic
to someone in need; how she is all ears when someone needs a
person to open up to; how she lets go of things even if it hurts;
and how she understands what a family member may not even
say. She may not be the captain of the family team, but
essentially, pulls everything to her- Such is her
magnetism!
Shouldn’t we all learn something from this aspect of her?
Well, it is not going to be easy, I bet! As we celebrate
Mothers’ Day on the 13th of this month, in our hearts,
we know that just one day is not enough to celebrate
Mother and Motherhood. But that shouldn’t stop us
from giving our mums that extra big hug on Mother’s
Day!
