iQor opens new contact center in Colombia to expand BPO integrated digital services

iQor , a managed services provider of customer engagement and technology-enabled BPO solutions , is celebrating the grand opening of its first contact center in South America with a ceremony in Colombia .

The initial launch in Medellín supports around 500 frontline employees with expansion plans later this year . Partnership established to offer specialized satellite connectivity services in Latin America

A services company , and Argentinabased connectivity provider , Servicio Satelital , will improve the management of satellite Internet networks and customers throughout Latin America .

Under the co-operation , Servicio Satelital will have access to advanced OSS / BBS tools specific to satellite services through NEXAT Platform-as-a-Service ( PaaS ) solution , including a business management portal and an eMarketplace . It will enable teleport operators to expand their hub capabilities and offer services to customers independently of their hub technology .
The partnership will also benefit NEXAT , which will gain access to Arsat and Intelsat-based services in Latin America while providing Servicio Satelital a route to a greater global reach through expanding worldwide coverage .
Operators and teleports in Latin America will access the NEXAT platform through its Point of Presence ( PoP ) in Florida , which replicates models in Europe , Africa and Asia , offering a range of benefits to platform users and their customers .
