We strongly focus on having autonomous business partners who know our portfolio and how to implement it successfully . to migrate to the cloud or multi-cloud , managing the movement of data in and out of data centers , ensuring that data is protected in a responsible and secure manner , and efficiently recovering it when required . Additionally , the emergence of 5G technology is expected to revolutionize infrastructure and transform the concept of Edge Computing as we know it today .
What is your management philosophy ?
My management philosophy , which I have been promoting within the group , is something I took from African culture , called ‘ UBUNTU ’ which means ‘ humanity towards others ’, where teamwork and the responsibility of each member towards achieving a group result is most important . This way , the success of the group is the success of everyone , but likewise , the failure of one is the failure of the group . This leads us to ensure not only that we succeed , but that each member of our ecosystem succeeds . This obliges and commits us to have not only the best professionals , trained and motivated , but also with the right attitude to achieve our objectives .
Looking back on your career , what has been your most memorable achievement ?
The integration of the Dell and EMC ecosystems was a significant undertaking that resulted in a new ecosystem for Dell Technologies . Bringing together two business partner ecosystems with distinct portfolios , solution scopes , sales cycles and approaches to doing business was a major challenge . However , this experience provided me with the most valuable learning opportunity of my career . As the channel director for DELL MCLA ( Central and South America ), I also took on the responsibility of leading our contribution to the EMC ecosystem .
Today , we have a strong and dynamic ecosystem that is focused on delivering effective solutions , and as a result , we have become leaders in various segments across Latin America . I have immense respect and

What made you consider a career in technology ?
We are referring to the year 1987 when I made a strategic decision to invest in an emerging industry that was predicted to have significant contributions in the future . As time passed , we have come to appreciate the crucial role of this industry that cuts across all sectors and markets . It is an indispensable component for the progress that we observe every day , and without it , such advancements would not be possible .
Today we are in the data age and we continue to be surprised every day by everything that needs to be done .
What do you think will be the hot technology topic in 2023 ?
In my opinion , cybersecurity is currently the most critical challenge faced by all industries . Technology is an essential aspect that affects all sectors directly , and as part of Dell Technologies , we have a responsibility to invest in research and development continuously . Our aim is to ensure that our clients and their customers feel confident about the security of their information and assets , allowing them to grow and thrive despite the constant threat of cybercrime that affects the world today . •
