Jitterbit brand takes hold in Latin America
Jitterbit , a global leader for empowering transformation through automation , has welcomed Wevo to the Jitterbit brand after a successful integration of the two companies ’ operations .
Jitterbit acquired the Brazil-based Integration Platform-as-a- Service ( iPaaS ) provider in December 2021 to strategically extend its integration capabilities and reach into Latin America .
The decision to bring Wevo under the Jitterbit umbrella was a strategic one . The first iPaaS provider in Latin America , Wevo opened the door to a new market , ecosystems and endpoints , further expanding Jitterbit ’ s already broad presence across the globe .
Jitterbit delivers integration , APIM , LCAP and automation services to companies in 60 countries , helping them accelerate their Digital Transformations and realize exponential efficiencies . STRACON Group strengthens technological capability with the digital infrastructure provider OMT SpA
STRACON Group , a leading mining services group focused on North and South America , majority owned by global asset manager Ashmore Group plc , has announced the acquisition of OMT SpA , a Chilean engineering and technology company specializing in the implementation of communication technologies for the mining sector .
It further strengthens the digital technology capabilities and , associated with the recent acquisition of AMECO South America , expands its presence in Chile .
The announcement marks STRACON ’ s second technology acquisition following its purchase in 2022 of Peru ’ s Deep Pit Technology , a flagship software suite MineExpert which uses Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) to optimize mining production . These technologies will support Digital Transformation in the mining industry to improve efficiency , safety and sustainability during construction and operational life .
Through its subsidiary , STRACON Technologies , the group offers a variety of digital and AI solutions , cybersecurity , hybrid infrastructure and energy technology .
