New enterprise software
update gives more selling
power to partners
With the latest update to the BlackBerry Enterprise Portfolio
announced, it certainly isn’t the last says Richard McLeod, Global
Vice-President for Enterprise Software Channels at BlackBerry.
B
lackberry has recently launched
a comprehensive update to the
BlackBerry Enterprise Portfolio
that makes it even better; for enterprises
using it and for Enterprise Partners
selling it.
That’s saying something, considering
the previous version of BlackBerry
Enterprise Portfolio just earned a spot
in the Leader’s Quadrant in Gartner’s
Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Mobility
44
Management Suites, making this our
second year in a row.
In the report, Gartner describes
Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)
as “the ‘glue’ that connects mobile devices
to their enterprise infrastructure.” As
companies continue to invest in mobilising
their data and processes, and building
out the Enterprise of Things (EoT), this
‘glue’ will do more and become even more
important to business operations. Going
forward, every enterprise will need an
EMM solution and one that goes beyond
basic mobility management.
BlackBerry’s continued leadership in
enterprise software and services means
that partners align themselves with our
powerful and expanding platform. Through
our BlackBerry Enterprise Partner
Program for Solutions Providers, we offer
partners the opportunity to grow their
businesses while they help their customers
