Epicor announced appointment of Monzer Tohme as Regional Vice President , Sales , Middle East and Africa . Taking leadership of a business that has seen strong growth over the last year , Tohme will focus on building the sales team , growing the channel community and expanding the company ’ s footprint in the region .
With an initial focus on UAE , Saudi Arabia and South Africa , Tohme will look to grow the Epicor business within its existing customer base through upgrades to the latest software versions . Andy Elder moves from Intel Security to drives sales at Riverbed
Riverbed Technology has appointed Andy Elder as Senior Vice President of Sales for Europe , Middle East and Africa , reporting to Paul Mountford , Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer at Riverbed . Elder will be responsible for the company ’ s sales strategy and go-to-market execution in Europe , Middle East and Africa , and will lead the team to drive and accelerate the next wave of growth across the region .
Elder joins Riverbed from Intel Security , where he was President Europe , Middle East and Africa , responsible for go-to-market and operations for 100 countries . During his two-year tenure , he led Intel Security to become the leading security vendor in EMEA . Before that , Elder spent three years at Intellectual Ventures as Executive Vice President of Global Licensing of intellectual property and invention rights . He spent 13 years at Cisco in many roles , including Vice President of Global Sales for the Sports and Entertainment division . Elder also held positions at 3Com earlier in his career .
