Mubadala Investment Company and Stonepeak announce deal to sell Cologix to accelerate market growth

Mubadala Investment Company and Stonepeak , an investment firm specialising in infrastructure and real assets , have announced an agreement to sell Cologix – the largest private interconnection and hyperscale edge platform in North America . The transaction is expected to close in early 2022 .

Cologix is North America ’ s leading network-neutral interconnection and hyperscale edge data centre company with more than 600 networks and over 300 cloud providers across the platform . The company provides critical IT infrastructure to more than 1,600 customers through its operations that span 40 interconnection and hyperscale data centres in 11 North American markets .

ConnectWise announces acquisition of SmileBack

ConnectWise , a software company dedicated to the success of IT solution providers , has announced it has acquired SmileBack , a customer experience solution provider . The acquisition will pair ConnectWise ’ s best-in-class IT solution provider software and services platform with the industry ’ s premier customer feedback system designed specifically for managed service providers ( MSPs ) from SmileBack .
