Kalaam Telecom acquires Zajil Telecom to create US $ 100m IT solutions firm

Bahrain-based technology solutions provider Kalaam Telecom , has announced the acquisition of Zajil International Telecom Co . ( KSCC ), one of Kuwait ’ s longest-established ISP and ICT services companies , with the aim of creating a regional powerhouse which will drive Digital Transformation in the GCC region and beyond .
The acquisition will create a combined entity with revenue of US $ 100 million , with data centres in five countries , network point of presence ( PoPs ) in 25 countries , and a subsea and land cable network that connects three continents . Kalaam will be among the top three ISPs in the GCC and will be the only operator with an ISP licence for Bahrain , Kuwait and Saudi Arabia .

The acquisition empowers Kalaam to become one of the three largest independent ISPs in the Middle East .

IFS completes merger with Axios Systems
IFS , the global cloud enterprise applications company , has announced that it has concluded the acquisition of Axios Systems .
The transaction , which was initially announced in March 2021 , combines two pioneers of the service management space : IFS , with its leadership in field service management and Axios Systems , with its strength in IT service management ( ITSM ) and IT operations management ( ITOM ).
The combined IFS enterprise service management proposition is unique in how it enables companies to orchestrate their value chain and optimise their workflows .
