Infor appoints Mohamed Taha to lead channel growth in META

Cloud vendor Infor , has appointed Mohamed Taha as senior director of channels and alliances in the Middle East , Turkey and
Africa ( META ).
According to Infor , channel partners play a key role in strengthening its ability to reach customers and execute Digital Transformation projects across the region .

Taha is an accomplished channel sales leader with in-depth experience in channel management , business development and direct sales , along with comprehensive experience of management and advisory of strategic activities for large organisations across the Middle East . He has developed highly effective Middle Eastern channel structures for Dell , Hitachi Data Systems , Sage and BlackBerry . In each case , he demonstrated a sharp focus on revenue growth and worked with channel partners to drive successful engagements with customers .

Unisys names Dwayne Allen as CTO and Senior Vice President
Unisys Corporation , has announced that Dwayne L . Allen has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer ( CTO ) and Senior Vice President , Solution Innovation and Architecture , reporting to Chair and CEO Peter Altabef . His appointment is effective immediately .
In the new role , Allen will drive identification of innovative technologies in cloud , end-user experience and enterprise computing to benefit Unisys clients and their customers . Allen will also oversee integration of those technologies into solutions that Unisys ’ global business units provide .
“ Delivering increasingly innovative solutions is a key imperative for Unisys ,” said Altabef . “ Dwayne is ideal for that role . He has an admirable record of success in leading Digital Transformation and has deep experience in multiple industries relevant to Unisys ’ business . Allen joins Unisys from Microsoft , where he was a global digital strategist working with the company ’ s major clients in multiple industries on reimagining their business models , driving outcomes through digital innovation and revolutionising their customers ’ experience .
Prior to his tenure at Microsoft , Allen was CIO at Masonite International , a global manufacturer of building products .
