National Store signs up as distributor for Wiko mobiles in UAE
National Store , the flagship company of JK Group , has announced its partnership with French smartphone brand , Wiko , to act as the exclusive distributor for the brand in the UAE market . With regional headquarters in the country , the brand entered UAE in October 2014 . Since then it has been going strong in the region , registering sustainable growth and market reach .
Through this partnership , National Store will carry out the ground sales and distribution operations for Wiko across all its outlets in the UAE . This will assist the brand in its country-wide expansion as well as in further strengthening its visibility .
As distributors and retailers , National Store has had a successful run for almost half a century showcasing brands such as Canon , Sandisk , Moser , Crown Line , KZEN and GP Batteries , among others . The company launched an outlet in Khalidyah Mall , Abu Dhabi , last year , and has a number of expansion plans in the future .
National Store has three main divisions namely Photo-Video Division , Electronic and Media Division through which it represents well-known brands like Canon , Sandisk , Moser , Crown Line as well as KZEN & GP Batteries amongst others .

With a view to providing a healthy business environment for 2017 and beyond for the IT channel business , Dubai Computer Group has initiated business meetings for both buyers and sellers in soliciting feedbacks . As a first step towards this objective , Dubai Computer Group called a meeting of leading suppliers to broadly discuss reforms that would redefine the business landscape .
Dubai Computer Group initiated business meeting was held in December and was attended by a mix of 15 leading suppliers including major distribution companies and top importers . The meeting started with short presentation from Dubai Computer Group on the need for business reforms , current business trend and formative measures .
The attendees included management representatives and credit controllers from Achiever Computers , Al Masa Distribution , Aptec Ingram Micro , Asbis Middle East , Daisytek Computers , Experts Computer , FDC International , Gulf Shadows Computer System , Logicom , Mitsumi Distribution , Quality Computers , Redington , Tiger General Trading , Transworld Computer Technology , and Trigon .
All participants supported this business meeting initiative from Dubai Computer Group and have agreed to participate in future meets under the canopy of Dubai Computer Group . This meeting was sponsored by ASBIS Middle East .
Saudi Arabian Al Tayyar Travel Group expands relationship with Amadeus
Al Tayyar Travel Group , one of the largest travel and tourism companies in the region , as part of its sustained efforts to contribute to the development of the corporate travel sector , has signed a new partnership agreement with Amadeus , a provider for advanced technology solutions for the global travel industry .
