Nutanix appoints Matt Maw in new A / NZ Head of Technology Strategy

Nutanix , a leader in enterprise cloud computing , has announced the appointment of Matt Maw in the newly created role of A / NZ Head of Technology Strategy . Based in Brisbane , Maw will play a key role across the region as both a senior technologist and sales leader .

The appointment and new role follows the expansion of the Nutanix A / NZ business in the fourth quarter of 2020 . The company experienced 18 % team growth , 13 % customer acquisition growth and a 14 % rise in new partners as businesses increasingly turned to Nutanix to generate immediate infrastructure cost-savings and enable cloud transitions .
Maw brings more than 20 years ’ experience to the role , joining from VMware and having previously worked at tech giants including Cisco and Dimension Data . He also brings vital customer C-level experience , having served as CTO of Tatts Group , now part of Tabcorp , for more than six years .

Vectra appoints Jerome Jullien as Vice President of International Partner Sales

Vectra , a leader in network threat detection and response ( NDR ), has announced the appointment of Jerome Jullien as Vice President of International Partner Sales to its leadership team . With more than 25 years ’ experience in Enterprise Technology , including managing Channels , System Integrator and Service Provider ( SI / SP ) and Alliances , Jullien brings a strong track record of building successful business models for the channel and will play a key role in managing and driving sales via the Vectra partner ecosystem .

In his new role , Jullien will be responsible for managing Vectra ’ s international indirect sales business across key regions .
The market demand for NDR solutions is generating significant traction among forward-thinking enterprises with this set to continue into 2021 .
Prior to joining Vectra , Jullien was Vice President Global Channels & Alliances at Nokia , a position held for five years , where he was a member of the Global Enterprise Management Team and was responsible for developing the business ’ s go-to-market ( GTM ) strategy for industry partners , distributors , alliances , SPAAP and VARs and leading the global partner programme and partner sales .
In his new role , Jullien will be responsible for managing Vectra ’ s international indirect sales business across key regions .
