Compodium , provider of secure digital meeting spaces , launches new channel programme to drive EMEA growth
Compodium International AB , a leading provider of secure digital meeting spaces , has unveiled a new channel programme , Compodium Partner Assure , aimed at accelerating the company ’ s growth into western Europe . Already a well-established and trusted brand in its native Nordics , the company plans to expand its geographic footprint to include the UK initially , followed by other countries across Europe , Middle East and Africa .
Hubert Da Costa has been appointed as Vice President , Global Channels to build , launch and lead the channel programme in EMEA . Da Costa brings to Compodium decades of experience building European businesses for firms including Cybera , Cradlepoint , NCR Corporation , Juniper Networks and Avaya .
To help secure a market-leading position in this rapid growth area , Compodium is looking to appoint a select number of partners across the region to drive sales in the finance , healthcare , SMB enterprise , education and government / public sector vertical markets . Although a number of its early deals were secured via a direct sales approach , going forward the company ’ s model will be 100 % channel focused .

Proofpoint appoints former Mastercard company Security Chief , Andrew Rose
Andrew Rose , Resident CISO for the EMEA region , Proofpoint
Proofpoint , a leading cybersecurity and compliance company , has announced that it has appointed Andrew Rose as its Resident CISO for the EMEA region . Rose was previously Chief Security Officer of Mastercard subsidiary , Vocalink , which is responsible for much of the UK ’ s instant and bulk payments , covering over 90 % of UK salaries , over 70 % of UK bill payments and nearly all UK benefit payments .
In his role as Resident CISO , EMEA , Rose will focus on driving Proofpoint ’ s people-centric security vision , strategy and initiatives amongst its customer base , bringing hands-on experience , knowledge and perspective in managing risk and improving cybersecurity posture across complex enterprises .
Rose brings with him a wealth of industry expertise from a number of other CISO roles including at the UK ’ s Air Traffic Control provider , NATS , where he oversaw a security transformation and contributed to the design of the next-generation air traffic control system . Rose has also held CISO roles at top tier global law firms , Allen & Overy LLP and Clifford Chance LLP , and was a Principal Analyst at Forrester Research where he covered the role of the CISO and Security Culture and Awareness as two of his specialty areas .
