The appointment of Bianculli to CTO is a strategic move to address increasing demand for visibility solutions and expand the impact of Zebra’s innovation across industries. Zebra led the enterprise mobility revolution and is now poised to lead the enterprise intelligence revolution as customers embrace the digitisation of their businesses. Under Bianculli’s leadership, Zebra will further accelerate development of its innovations in the Enterprise Asset Intelligence category to enhance strategic relationships with customers and partners. Zebra is helping them master the convergence of key digital trends including IoT, cloud computing and mobility to sense, analyse and mobilise actions to optimise operations. A key contributor to the articulation of Zebra’s Enterprise Asset Intelligence strategy, Bianculli most recently served as Vice President of Zebra’s Emerging Technology Office. In this role, Bianculli testified on the topic of wearable technology before the US House of Representatives. Working across the company, the CTO organisation is assembling the platform components required to harness the power of data that Zebra’s solutions can enable in Enterprise Asset Intelligence solutions across verticals. Bianculli and his team have also been spearheading the development of new, verticalspecific Enterprise Asset Intelligence solutions. One example is the recently launched Trailer Load Analytics solution in the transportation and logistics industry, which utilises Zebra sensors and analytics to aggregate data across thousands of dock doors to indicate the next best action to dock managers in real-time, thereby increasing load efficiency and asset utilisation. 58 Cisco Middle East elevates Ziad Salameh to Managing Director West Region Cisco Middle East announced appointment of Ziad Salameh as Managing Director of its West Region. In his new position, Ziad is responsible for leading Cisco’s business and operations in Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the Levant and Iraq to capitalise on the opportunities created by digitisation.
