Cisco to resell Veeam Availability solutions:
Partnership grows even stronger

Cisco is a technology leader with a strong
track record of delivering innovative
solutions to customers globally. For some
time, Cisco has been a key alliance partner
for Veeam. Over the past two years, we
have completed numerous Cisco Validated
Designs (CVDs) to build on our long-lasting
technical relationship. Back in March, we
announced a significant step forward in our
growing partnership when we showcased
our direct snapshot integration for Cisco
HyperFlex — the first and only one of its
kind today.
We are now proud to announce
yet another milestone in our strategic
partnership with Cisco. Veeam will be
added to the Cisco Global Price List in early
October of this year. This will enable Cisco
and its resellers to deliver Veeam Availability
solutions as easily and simply as any Cisco
hardware or software product.
This is great news for customers who are
moving through their own digital journeys.
Digital transformation and digital disruption
have become top-of-mind concerns for
executives today. IDC predicts that more
than 65 per cent of Global 2000 companies
will position digital transformation at the
centre of their corporate strategies by the
end of 2017.
At the heart of digital

is commonly touted as this
generation’s oil, such is the
value of the commodity to
modern business. However,
due to cyber attacks,
human error, development
oversights and poor backup
routines, companies are now

will allow Veeam to be quoted directly
through Cisco and enable ‘one-stop shopping’.

testing, and it uses pre-validated designs so
customers can meet stringent service-level

Nuvias Appointed a
Pan-EMEA Distributor
for Juniper Networks
Nuvias has been appointed as a pan-EMEA
distributor for Juniper Networks’ full range
of high-performance networking, security,
datacentre and cloud solutions. Nuvias will
support Juniper’s continued growth plans
for EMEA, particularly in the mid-to-high
end enterprise market.
Nuvias has designed, together with
Juniper, a full channel partner development
and acceleration programme that
complements Juniper’s existing channel
programme. It will offer technical, sales
and marketing training to help maximise
the business opportunities in high growth
markets such as cloud, IoT and Software
Defined Networking (SDN), areas where
Juniper also invests.
Nuvias will work with Juniper to identify
key vertical markets and geographies for
partners and provide them with the skills
to transform their customers’ datacentres
with Juniper’s next-generation networking
and security platforms. Nuvias will focus on
partner recruitment, accreditation and sales
enablement, providing value-added services
such as solution events, training, lead
generation, and campaign materials.
