BackupAssist partners with Wasabi to deliver cyber-resilient data backup

When combined with Wasabi ’ s cloud , BackupAssist ’ s software provides a flexible and cost-effective storage solution that offers backups for both full system and granular recoveries anywhere , anytime . Additionally , BackupAssist ’ s CryptoSafeGuard combined with Wasabi ’ s 11 nines of object durability and data immutability enables backup files to remain secure .

Kaspersky finds that 32 % of employees in the UAE enjoy working outdoors
People working from home during the pandemic have discovered some novelties that they would now like to keep , according to a new global research commissioned by Kaspersky , which studied the behaviour of 8,000 SMB workers .
Novelties favoured by employees in the United Arab Emirates ( UAE ) include weekday lie-ins ( 35 %), bingewatching Netflix ( 33 %) and working outside in the garden or on a balcony ( 32 %).
The majority of respondents benefitted from simply working in comfortable clothes : 48 % got used to this lifestyle and would like to make it the norm in the future . Saying goodbye to long commutes also made employees happier as they could wake up shortly before work started , while many also enjoyed taking a nap during the day ( 32 %).
However , this newfound openmindedness not only leads to profits but also to a certain level of responsibility when it comes to digital security . Kaspersky has highlighted that having reliable security solutions across devices will be crucial in order to protect individual privacy as colleagues enjoy new ways of unwinding .
SH Capital Ltd launches in Dubai to empower SMEs with global banking services
A new digital treasury services management provider SH Capital Ltd ( SHC ) has launched in Dubai with a mission to empower small and medium sized enterprises ( SMEs & MMEs ) by offering world class global banking services , asset management , FX hedging solutions , investment products and services .
SH Capital is a subsidiary of parent company Stanhope Financial Group , which launched with US $ 3.5m funding in November last year . In December , the group also announced the launch of its EU headquarters in Lithuania after obtaining its Electronic Money Institution licence .
The independent FinTech firm , which has received its in-principle approval Cat 3A regulatory licensing from the DFSA , Dubai , is set to begin trading as of end of Q2 ’ 21 , with a mission to help companies meet their financial goals during the COVID-19 recovery .
