Data Subject Rights
One of the aim of the General Data Protection Regulation
(GDPR) is to empower individuals and give them control
over their personal data.
There is a separate chapter in the GDPR on the 8 rights of
data subjects (individuals):
o Right to access
o Right to data rectification
o Right to be forgotten
o Right to restrict processing
o Right to data portability
o Right to object
o Right to be notified
o Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on
automated processing.
