All LightEdge data centres now HITRUST certified
ightEdge , a leader in compliant cloud and colocation for more than 25 years , has expanded its HITRUST
L partnership , adding HITRUST certifications for four additional data centres and publishing a HITRUST Shared Responsibility Matrix ( SRM ).
Developed jointly by HITRUST and LightEdge , LightEdge ’ s SRM clearly defines security and privacy responsibilities between LightEdge and its customers , which in turn streamlines processes for risk management programmes . LightEdge is one of only 14 companies globally that have published a HITRUST SRM . This latest addition of four HITRUST certifications means that all 11 LightEdge data centres are now HITRUST certified .
HITRUST was established in 2007 to help mitigate the risks associated with a data breach of personal health information . One of the most widely adopted security frameworks in the healthcare industry , HITRUST certification demonstrates that systems within LightEdge ’ s environment meet the information risk management and compliance requirements to protect healthcare data .
To achieve HITRUST certification , providers must undergo an extremely rigorous process . According to HITRUST , upwards of 80 % of US hospitals and 85 % of US health insurers use the HITRUST approach to help with HIPAA compliance .
Not only does LightEdge offer HITRUST-compliant data centres but it can also help its customers achieve their own HITRUST certifications . LightEdge is one of only 39 organisations worldwide that are part of the HITRUST Inheritance Program , which allows customers to inherit relevant LightEdge controls and put them towards their own HITRUST assessments .

US $ 90 million ) through NTT Global Data Centers Corporation for the development of its newest and largest data centre in Thailand .
The new Bangkok 3 Data Center ( BKK3 ) will start operations in the second half of 2024 and will provide a maximum IT capacity of 12MW across approximately 4,000 m ² of IT space when fully built out .
The new data centre is being constructed in line with NTT Group ’ s vision of Green Innovation towards 2040 . The framework will help NTT towards achieving net zero emissions across its operations by 2030 and its value chain by 2040 – in lockstep with Thailand ’ s own commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 .
Located 57km from Bangkok Central at the Eastern Economic Corridor ’ s Amata City Chonburi industrial estate , the new infrastructure caters to hyperscalers and enterprises , providing them with flexible and scalable IT infrastructure , optimum power efficiency and cost-effectiveness to support high densities of up to 30KW per rack .
