DC BLOX selects FNT Software to document and manage multiple data centre operations
FNT Software , a leading provider of software solutions for the integrated management of IT , data centre and telecommunication infrastructures worldwide , has announced that it has been selected by DC BLOX to document and manage its data centre operations in facilities across the south-east .
As a provider of multi-tenant data centres , dark fibre and connectivity solutions , DC BLOX will utilise FNT ’ s integrated platform , FNT Command , to operate with maximum efficiency and high availability .
To meet increasing demands for new digital services , DC BLOX required a centralised solution for data centre infrastructure management . Prior to selecting FNT Command , the data centre operator relied on manual tracking and project management tools to document all IT infrastructure .
Offering a web-based solution , FNT Command provides the capability to streamline processes and optimise the utilisation of data centre assets , including building infrastructure ( power , cooling , floorspace ), IT infrastructure ( networks , servers , storage ), connectivity ( cables , patches ) and services ( software , applications ). The platform offers comprehensive reporting and analytics , making it easy to monitor operations in real-time .
Through its flexible , application programming interface ( API ), FNT Command enables seamless integration with other third-party applications and systems .
