STACK Infrastructure and ESR partner to expand their APAC footprint into Korea

S to some of the world ’ s most innovative companies and a leading global developer and operator of data centres and ESR Group , one of APAC ’ s largest real asset manager powered by the New Economy , has announced a joint venture to develop a 48MW data centre site in Incheon , Korea .

STACK and ESR will jointly develop and deliver a 48MW facility in Incheon in Seoul ’ s western suburbs . Power to the facility has been secured from KEPCO and construction of the single building will commence in Q1 2023 for delivery of ready-for-service capacity in Q4 2024 . The facility will be operated under the STACK brand . floor loading specifications . The partners will develop a facility incorporating the latest environmentally friendly design supporting industry-leading PUE and building standards . This data centre will enable hyperscalers and enterprise clients to address their evolving requirements in Korea and the APAC region more broadly .

F agreement with PT Indosat Tbk ( Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison or IOH ) and PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta , Big Data Exchange ( BDx ), a leading data centre solutions provider in Asia-Pacific , announced the launch of BDx Indonesia .

With the announcement , BDx Indonesia assumes the operations of four existing data centres in the highly sought-after locations in and around the capital city of Jakarta .
With its best-in-class BDx global Operations , Design and Construction standards and sustainable solutions , BDx Indonesia will modernise and expand the four operating facilities and develop new greenfield projects to enhance capacity to 70MW by 2023 and 250MW in the next five years . options across the entire BDx cluster encompassing facilities in China , Hong Kong and Singapore , where the company just moved its global headquarters .
