StratCap acquires Milwaukee data centre

S has announced that it completed the acquisition of a 28,500 square-foot data centre that is fully leased on a triple-net basis located 16 miles south of Milwaukee in Franklin , WI .

The property was constructed in 2008 and is in a growing secondary Edge data centre market . The building is currently leased to Expedient , a multi-cloud and managed services provider that operates over 20 data centre locations and helps its clients transition to the cloud .
The data centre sits on 2.64 acres and currently has 1.2MW of critical load which is expandable to 2.4MW by building out existing shell space . There are approximately 15 years remaining on the current lease term , which also includes 2.5 % annual rent escalators and three three-year renewal options .

Vantage starts construction on a second data centre at Frankfurt II campus

V centre campuses , has announced the start of construction on a second data centre on its Frankfurt II campus .
Adding to its existing presence in the most sought-after European market , Vantage has broken ground on a second facility ( FRA22 ) at its second campus in Frankfurt . The 16MW , 130,000 square feet ( 12,000 square meters ) facility is sited on seven acres ( three hectares ) in Raunheim .
Once fully developed , the campus will include 56MW of IT capacity across two data centres . Vantage is also continuing to develop its first 55MW Frankfurt campus ,
located in Offenbach , approximately 30 kilometres from Raunheim . Once fully developed , both campuses will offer customers a total of 111MW of IT capacity in the Frankfurt region .
