CyrusOne , a leading global Real Estate Investment Trust ( REIT ), has announced the purchase of land in Hanau , East of Frankfurt , for the construction of a state-of-the-art data centre facility with incoming power of 90MW and a critical power capacity of 63MW . This will be its fifth data centre in Europe ’ s digital capital .

Prysmian Group , a leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry , welcomed the European Commission ’ s decision to impose antidumping duties on imports of optical fibre cables from China .
The European Commission has imposed anti-dumping duties ranging between 19.7 % and 44 % on imports of optical fibre cables from China . The strongly subsidised Chinese optical fibre cable industry has benefitted from an unfair competitive advantage , allowing it to increase significantly exports to the EU at heavily undercut prices during recent years .
