Immersion cooling is the practice of submerging computer components ( or full servers ) in a thermally , but not electrically , conductive liquid ( dielectric coolant ). Submer has built a range of immersion cooling modular solutions that empower users to effortlessly scale their operations while simultaneously saving space and energy and increasing compute capacity .
The solution will include the SmartPodX and SmartPodXL , two of Submer ’ s Pod technologies that have both been designed to adhere to the classic 19 ” standards or easily adapted to meet Open Compute ( OCP ) standards , depending on customer needs .
