Equinix, a global interconnection and data centre
company, has announced the expansion of its Dallas
Infomart Data Centre campus with the opening of a new
US$142 million International Business Exchange (IBX)
data centre and the launch of its 5G and Edge Proof of
Concept Centre (POCC). The move supports the growing
demand for companies to accelerate their evolution
from traditional to digital businesses.
EUROPE
Emtelle, a global manufacturer of pre-connectorised,
blown fibre cable and ducted network solutions,
announced it has acquired 16,000m 2 of land located
adjacent to its manufacturing plant in Erfurt, Germany. The
news follows the manufacturer’s recent investment in its
production capabilities with the purchase of two new
extrusion lines at the Erfurt manufacturing facility.
