What can you tell us about the
company’s activities?
Professional Communication Corporation
– Nedaa is the sole and exclusive
security network provider for the
Government of Dubai. Nedaa has made
its mark on the telecommunications
industry as the first corporation in the
Middle East to implement the use of the
TETRA Network throughout its diverse
services which include the Mobile Base
Station which offers round-the-clock
monitoring and connectivity at major
events, and premier indoor coverage
and base transmission solutions for
important facilities in the Emirate to
ensure fast, secure and reliable data and
information exchange.

Can you tell us a little bit
more about your work with
public agencies?
HE Mansoor BuOsaiba, CEO, Nedaa
Nedaa offers its services across
a wide range of industry verticals,
including public transport, aviation, law
enforcement, customs, ports and security.
Your company partners with
some of the most prominent
names in telecommunications.
Why is that important?
We have very strong relations with the
main providers and the manufacturers,
like Airbus and Nokia. We have very
strong system integrators and a systems
solution provider which is Esharah Etisalat
Security Solutions, a subsidiary of Nedaa.
So if you combine all of these factors
we can supply state-of-the-art solutions
to our customers in Dubai and the
whole of the UAE. As you know, our
key customers are in Dubai and they
are running very critical operations like
Dubai Airports which is reaching around
86 million passengers a year.
Other customers are Dubai Police
and the ambulance service, as well as
Dubai Ports which have very strong
growth figures. All of these customers
are looking to us for state-of-the-art
services so this is the reason we are
We are providing the networks for these
agencies such as Dubai Police and
the airport, as well as the transport
authorities. The Metro is also hooked
into our networks. They are running
very critical operations and they are
looking for a reliable network to rely
on to carry out their operations without
any disturbance.
Does the company just operate in
the UAE or do you operate in the
rest of the region?
We provide coverage for crisis and
catastrophes across Dubai and the
Northern Emirates.
What do you think the major
developments in your industry
are going to be?
I think we are going to focus on
broadband. We’re going to focus on
mission critical applications, tied to
Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality and
Augmented Reality. IoT is a huge field
and one of our targets is to implement
an IoT platform as part of our networks.
Also, in 2020 we are part of Expo
2020 providing mission critical network
coverage for the organisational
committees of Expo 2020. u
