Intel has celebrated breaking ground in the Silicon Heartland at its newest US manufacturing site in 40 years . To mark the occasion , President Joe Biden delivered remarks on rebuilding American manufacturing through the CHIPS and Science Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law . Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and state and local officials also took part in the event celebrating Intel ’ s newest semiconductor site in Licking County , Ohio . Earlier this year , Intel announced a more than US $ 20 billion investment in a new semiconductor manufacturing site in Ohio to produce leading-edge chips . Intel expects this project to generate thousands of high-paying , high-tech jobs , to strengthen the Ohio economy and to broaden the domestic workforce .
Virtustream , an enterprise-class cloud company and Dell Technologies business , has announced that GraceKennedy ( GK ) Foods selected Virtustream Enterprise Cloud to power its growing business ’ SAP workloads . The move transforms GraceKennedy Foods ’ IT systems for seamless , fast growth in the future and improves its Disaster Recovery ( DR ) capabilities .
