AIQ and MBZUAI look to energize AI research on energy industry solutions of advanced technologies as well as the exploration of a joint lab or research and development centre .

University of Artificial Intelligence ( MBZUAI ) have signed a memorandum of understanding ( MoU ) that will energise joint research into AI related technologies with an emphasis on solutions for the energy sector .
The agreement was signed in the presence of AIQ CEO Omar Al Marzooqi , MBZUAI President , Professor Eric Xing , and senior management from both organisations .

The collaboration between AIQ and MBZUAI will be a driver for AI technology research that will unlock innovative solutions for the sector to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of operations . The partnership offers significant potential to accelerate the development of AI solutions for the industry while enabling knowledge transfer and nurturing the UAE ’ s future leaders in AI through training opportunities .”
Xing said : “ MBZUAI is committed to supporting AI innovation and talent development in the UAE . Agreements like this put that commitment into action through shared research and future growth opportunities .”
G42 and e & ink deal turning Khazna Data Centers into the Middle East ’ s largest data centre provider
Following the binding agreement between e & ( formerly known as Etisalat Group ) and G42 to merge their data centre offering late last year , Khazna Data Centers is now operating the twelve new joint data centres network , making it the UAE and Middle East ’ s largest data centre provider .
The strategic partnership between G42 and e & makes Khazna a data centre powerhouse effectively delivering services to partners , customers and users alike . The move will also support the creation of a digital ecosystem in the UAE and beyond .
