wWhat would you describe as your most memorable achievement ?
I take a pragmatic approach to life , in the sense that I try to enjoy and embrace every opportunity and make the best out of it . From a career perspective , I was blessed over the years to build high performing teams that managed to expand rapidly and bring in the right value to our customers . My move to Dragos , to run our business in the region , is an exciting career milestone . I am eager to work closely with our clients , partners , and the wider Dragos teams to continue our growth and expansion in the Middle East .
What first made you think of a career in technology ?
I was 16 years old when I got my first PC from my father which cost a fortune back then . Being a young curious boy , I could not help but dismantle it on the second day , trying to figure out how this piece of metal worked . I had ripped the tower case to pieces and was struggling to put it back together when my dad entered my room and almost had a heart attack . I promised him that I would put it back together in the next hour . When I managed to do that successfully , I realised I was excited to understand how computers work and how we can employ technology to make our lives better . The passion continued through
high school and that was when I decided to study computer science .
What style of management philosophy do you employ with your current position ?
I believe successful leaders are excellent coaches . I look at my team as a great mix of brilliant players and each one of them brings in different qualities to the workspace . Then my strategy is to focus on bringing them together as one cohesive entity to support each other and grow as one family . Every success is the team ’ s success , and every failure is a learning opportunity for the team .
