AWS launches Region in the United Arab Emirates new Region will support an average of nearly 6,000 full-time jobs annually at external vendors , with a planned US $ 5 billion ( AED 20 billion ) investment in the local economy through 2036 .

Amazon . com company , has announced the launch of its second Region in the Middle East , the AWS Middle East ( UAE ) region .
Starting now , developers , start-ups , entrepreneurs and enterprises , as well as government , education and non-profit organisations will have even greater choice for running their applications and serving end-users from data centres located in the United Arab Emirates ( UAE ), using advanced AWS technologies to drive innovation .

Axis Communications launches weekly Innovation Mornings at the Axis Experience Centre in Dubai
Axis Communications has announced the launch of weekly Innovation Mornings at the Axis Experience Centre ( AEC ) in Dubai . These Innovation Mornings have been designed to create opportunities for learning and discussion on critical topics that are relevant to various industries and the Axis ecosystem .
“ We can ’ t wait to see how our customers benefit from our Axis Innovation Mornings , as we ’ ll be sharing ideas about how we can create a smarter and safer world . There are sessions planned over September . Each session will consist of a 45-minute to 1-hour presentation and Q & A session , which will be followed by breakfast .
The sessions will cover the following topics :
• Five ways to cover wide areas and long distances – Tuesday , 13 September 2022
• Axis perimeter protection solutions ( including radar ) – Tuesday 27 September 2022
