Global technology vendor Epson has announced the regional launch of the Epson Graduate Programme , an initiative designed to give young professionals a head start in their careers by enabling them to gain valuable experience and skills in various departments across the company . With a 6- to 12-month training period , the programme will offer fresh graduates seeking a job in the UAE , Saudi Arabia or Egypt an opportunity to enter the corporate world with roles in Epson ’ s HR , logistics , marketing or sales departments .

OMAN
Vodafone Oman and Ericsson have announced the deployment of a 5G indoor system at the Vodafone Experience Hub in Mall of Oman as well as the Vodafone Oman headquarter offices . Visitors at the Experience Hub can now enjoy speeds up to 600Mbps that allow for faster downloads , seamless browsing , low latency and streaming services . The experience of up to 600Mbps speed is achieved with Radio Dot 4475 with indoor radio unit ( IRU ) 8848 using 5G New Radio ( NR ) Time Division Duplex ( TDD ) Band 41 along with Band 3 in data aggregation mode – the first in the Middle East for this specific band combination .

SAUDI ARABIA
The Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity , Programming and Drones ( SAFCSP ), a national institution that aims to empower the local workforce and enhance their capabilities in the fields of cybersecurity , software development , drones and advanced technologies based on the best international practices , has inked a strategic partnership with the Middle East and Africa region ’ s value-added distributor Spire Solutions . The partnership aims to support Saudi youth by providing a series of short training programmes on some of the latest and greatest in cybersecurity technologies as part of CyberHub .

Batelco has partnered with e & to connect Manama Internet Exchange ( MN-IX ) with SmartHub Internet Exchange ( SH- IX ) to provide a seamless peering experience for customers , enabling a two-way data path utilising the robust global network remotely . The collaboration between the entities will allow customers access to both Internet exchange platforms through remote peering , eliminating the need for a physical presence . The companies will also be able to utilise each other ’ s global network remotely , leading to a growth in their respective virtual populations on the exchange .
