EGYPT
Ahl Masr Hospital , the first and largest hospital and research centre in the Middle East and Africa to offer free burn and associated trauma treatment , is set to significantly advance burn patient care across Egypt with seamless connectivity enabled by Avaya . The hospital , run by the Ahl Masr Foundation , eventually aims to receive over 300,000 patients per year , operating an intensive care unit , an incubator department , a surgical department , specialised clinics and laser treatment .

Cisco has announced a strategic partnership with the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security , Programming and Drones ( SAFCSP ), to develop the digital skills of 8,000 trainers in the fields of cybersecurity and programming via the Cisco Networking Academy ( NetAcad ). In Saudi Arabia , the Cisco NetAcad programme has one of the highest female student participation rates globally , reaching 32 % – a number which Cisco is keen to continue growing .

Ooredoo Telecom has selected Ericsson as its strategic partner to migrate and consolidate its online charging system to Ericsson Charging as its single platform enabling digital offerings replacing other charging solutions across the company . In addition , Ericsson agreement will enhance and provide new digital offerings to Ooredoo Kuwait ’ s subscribers as well as an architecture and interface platform ready for 5G . Ooredoo Kuwait and Ericsson successfully completed the migration and consolidation to Ericsson Charging ensuring seamless customer experience .
Sitecore , a global provider of digital experience management software , recently announced that 78 % of Oman ’ s IT decisionmakers have had to fundamentally change their customer experiences in response to the pandemic . The research , conducted by YouGov MENA , surveyed more than 650 IT decision-makers across 12 countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council , the Levant , and Egypt . In response to changing customer demands , 89 % of Oman ’ s IT decision-makers , said their brands created a deeper connection with their customers over the past year .
