At the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica ( ITA ), Embratel , Claro and Ericsson presented three technical demonstrations developed on a 5G Standalone network ( 5G SA ) aimed at the aviation and aeronautics market . The initiative seeks to show the transformative potential that the 5G network brings to the sector , in addition to the industry , providing inputs for innovation and increased efficiency in various applications . The demonstrations were carried out over a 5G Standalone network at 3.5 GHz frequency , using commercial solution elements with a license for experimental scientific purposes granted by Anatel to Claro .
Argentina ‘ s answer to Brazilian Nubank , unicorn Ualá launched Ualintec Capital , a new broker to expand investment options . Through Ualintec Capital , in the coming months , Ualá users will be able to invest in bonds and shares , among other investment options . Ualá , which offers an app and other tools for managing personal finances , recently became the eighth company to reach the billionaire status in Argentina .

Chilean fintech Creditú has announced the arrival of its property financing solution in Brazil . Founded in 2017 , the startup also operates in the Peru and Mexico markets , as well as Chile . The operation is the company ’ s biggest international expansion and takes place after a BRL100 million round led by AVLA Group . In its first three years of operation in Chile , Creditú states that it has offered BRL1.5 billion for real estate financing of 3,000 family homes . In its host country , the FinTech reached a 1 % market share , with monthly growth of 20 %.
Peru is joining the global push to develop a central bank digital currency ( CBDC ), central bank President Julio Velarde said , as policymakers worldwide seek to keep pace with fast-spreading cryptocurrencies . Speaking at a conference with business leaders in Lima , Velarde said that Peru ’ s central bank is working with the central banks of India , Singapore and Hong Kong in developing a CBDC .
